This book looks at education and the learning process and seeks to find a way of dramatically changing and updating it through the use of technology. Papert makes arguments that traditional education takes the abstract and makes them concrete. He believes that in many cases the reverse would have a greater impact. The book is filled with interesting stories and observations of students using lego and logo based programming environments that reinforce his ideas of learning through exploration and discovery.
