For example if I create a bib file with this: @ARTICLE{wig34, AUTHOR = {E. Wigner}, title ={ Test Title}, JOURNAL = {Test Journal}, PAGES = {1002}, VOLUME = {46}, YEAR = {1934}, annote = "Wigner Crystal E_CORR interpolation formula "} and I import the bitex file the resulting entry does not have the page field.
