I'm trying to add to my group's library the articles I posted to my personal library before I created the group - I'm preparing the group for additional members. I cannot simply export the larger library as a Bibtex file and import it into the group's and rely on Merge because I get a fatal error during importation due to the file length. So I'm trying to select, by search, the articles posted between 9th September 2007 and 23rd February 2008, using my username (username:GI-Sci*) and "posted-at" as fields, and some variation of brackets and a "TO" between the dates for the range search, as described in the 'Apache Lucene - Query Parser Syntax' file linked form the Search Help. Only I have been unable to get it to work. | Both the square brackets and curly brackets that are said to create inclusive and exclusive ranges, and ordinary round brackets produce too many (and the same number), a date range too great by some 5 weeks, extending to 21st March 2008, which is still probably too large a number. | I say probably because here I hit the second problem: although I can export my whole library as Bibtex, clicking the "Export" link at the top, when I want to export these search results there is no "Export" link up there, so I'm clicking the red Bibtex button at the bottom instead, and it brings up the same choices page. But it doesn't result in any Bibtex file. Zilch. And then I get presented with a page of "some recent papers posted to CiteuLike". | How should I be doing this? Shouldn't what I'm trying work?
