PSYCHOLOGY NETWORK PSYCHOLOGY NETWORK is an informal network of people who are interested in Psychology and sharing information related to it with one another. Psychology Network was activated with the need to bring together the students and other interested people to collaborate and achieve goals to uplift the field of psychology in Nepal and worldwide. Psychology Network plans to expand itself in a national as well as international level. Psychology Network is already active online through social networking site such as facebook.com, blogging in blogspot.com, online library in scribd.com, citations management in citeulike.org and other media such as youtube.com. All these groups are open. Anyone can join and be active! Plans are underway to reach person-to-person…Come, join us and take an initiative! Vision: To develop and uplift the field of psychology as a scientific discipline and promote it as an competent profession to help human beings. Goal and Objectives: To facilitate the communication (contact, discussion, knowledge-sharing) among people interested in Psychology. To create an archive/ collection of relevant study materials for reference in Psychology. To start a media dedicated to the field of psychology to disseminate news and information in the network. To organize programs and conduct activities in the college/community level for raising awareness related to Psychology. To promote the culture of research work to learn more, to test the theories in the cross-cultural context and adapt them for use/ develop new concepts relevant to our context. Become a Part of Network • Join the network of students (any discipline) interested in the study of psychology. • Keep up-to-date with the latest findings from diverse areas of psychology research. • Establish a continuing dialogue with fellow students, from a broad range of disciplines, who share your interest in the study of psychology related issues. • Share/publish your research, learning, curiosity or experience within and outside of network who are interested in knowing about the topics in Psychology. • Become part of a close-knit community of serious students committed to uplift the field of psychology. • Become an agent of change for a new beginning to pursue unlimited potential!!!
