Groups are collections of users. They are useful for keeping track of everyone in a lab, or everyone in a particular academic department. You can browse the articles posted by the people in any group, and you can ask to join any group yourself. If you cannot find the group you are looking for, you can create it.

It helps undergraduates and postgraduates. People studying for PhDs or in postdoctoral (postdoc) positions. The service is similar in scope to EndNote or RefWorks or any other reference manager like BibTeX, but it is a social bookmarking service for scientists and humanities researchers.
