So, you've forgotten your password

Consider yourself suitably scolded for this.

It's a relatively painless process to sort it out. I only store encrypted passwords, so I'm afraid I've got no idea what the unencrypted version of your current (lost) password is. I'll need to generate you a new one.

Enter the email address (the one you registered your account with) in the form below and I'll send you details of your username along with freshly generated password in a plain email.

If you lied about your email address when you registered then we're probably fighting a losing battle. If you can't remember what email address you registered with (and I realise this happens) then, if you can somehow prove who you claim to be, I can probably sort you out. In these extreme cases, you can email password@citeulike.org - but not until you've tried using this automated lost password service:

CiteULike organises scholarly (or academic) papers or literature and provides bibliographic (which means it makes bibliographies) for universities and higher education establishments. It helps undergraduates and postgraduates. People studying for PhDs or in postdoctoral (postdoc) positions. The service is similar in scope to EndNote or RefWorks or any other reference manager like BibTeX, but it is a social bookmarking service for scientists and humanities researchers.
