The broad aim of my project is to gain a better understanding of functioning Lactococcus lactis energy metabolism at a 'systems level' in an attempt to elucidate where glycolytic flux control resides and what governs the shift from homolactic to mixed acid fermentation in this organism. I am currently busy with my PhD
