I am interested in the structure, evolution and function of proteins. Specific areas of investigation include: Molecular Motors - deciphering allosteric mechanisms in kinesin, myosin and dynein that underlie intracellular transport. Bioinformatics - developing computational methods to probe sequence, structure, function relationships in biomolecules. Molecular Simulation - studying the dynamics and thermodynamics of proteins and their complexes.
