My current research focus is the maximization of resources' utility via sharing their usage between different virtual organizations. In more details, my aim is the design of a system that can deal with the highly intermittent behaviour of non-replicable, reusable and indivisible resources such as CPU power. Peer-to-peer Networks exhibit a number of properties that appear to be suitable for such systems but no existing system can currently fully address the problem. In the context of designing an efficient network for sharing such resources, my interest has also focused in the Complex Systems dynamics analysis and particularly on Scale-free Networks.
