I am currently playing with the superstring in anti-de Sitter space.

I am interested in understanding modern quantum field theory and gauge theory. In particular I enjoy studying the connection between gauge fields and string theory. I also find dualities very interesting, with the principal example being Maldacena's adS/CFT correspondence. Most of my time these days is dedicated to the study of scattering amplitudes of supersymmetric strings. Before going to bed I like to think about:

1. twistors
2. supergravity: four- and higher-dimensional
3. supersymmetry and its importance for fundamental theoretical physics
