What I do

I'm assistant professor at LISI/ENSMA - University of Poitiers.

I do my research in the LISI laboratory of the ENSMA engineering school. It concerns the management and exploitation of ontologies especially in the context of databases. During my PhD thesis, I have designed an exploitation language named OntoQL. This language is an extension of SQL for exploiting databases containing ontologies: ontologies-based databases (OBDB). Currently, my research consists in studying how this language can be used in different domains (Semantic Web, Model-Driven Architecture, etc.).

My teaching activities are made at the University of Poitiers. I teach different domains of Computer Science (Programmation, Algorithm, Software Engeneering, Databases) for students specialized or not in Computer Science.

Interests

Ontology, Database, Query Language, Web Service, Model-Driven Engineering, etc.
