I am a junior examiner in Art Unit 1631, which nominally covers bioinformatics. But as you can see from the variety of articles I have in my library, I examine pretty much any algorithm or mathematical procedure that has a biological or chemical application. That can mean anything from genomic data mining to laboratory data processing to molecular dynamics simulations to medical diagnostics.
