Abstract

Information service equalization is an important component of public services equalization. It is one of the vital conditions for achieving information service equalization to eliminate poverty, promote economic development and build a harmonious society. Academic library is an important component of social information system, and it is the base of university and social infomationization. Therefore, the academic library should base on universities, face society, serve the nation and take responsibility of information service equalization. This paper analyzes the nature of the information service equalization and influence of promoting information service equalization by digital gap, explores the advantages for academic library to promote the equalization of information, finally proposes the measures of propelling information service equalization.
