X Abstract

This book and CD-ROM compile the most widely applicable methods for solvingand approximating differential equations. The CD-ROM provides convenientaccess to these methods through electronic search capabilities, andtogetherthe book and CD-ROM contain numerous examples showing the methods use. Topicsinclude ordinary differential equations, symplectic integration ofdifferential equations, and the use of wavelets when numerically solvingdifferential equations.* For nearly every technique, the book and CD-ROM provide:* The types of equations to which the method is applicable* The idea behind the method* The procedure for carrying out the method* At least one simple example of the method* Any cautions that should be exercised* Notes for more advanced users* References to the literature for more discussion or more examples, includingpointers to electronic resources, such as URLs

CiteULike organises scholarly (or academic) papers or literature and provides bibliographic (which means it makes bibliographies) for universities and higher education establishments. It helps undergraduates and postgraduates. People studying for PhDs or in postdoctoral (postdoc) positions. The service is similar in scope to EndNote or RefWorks or any other reference manager like BibTeX, but it is a social bookmarking service for scientists and humanities researchers.
