X Abstract

Composite Yb:Y3Al5O12/Cr:Y3Al5O12 ceramics were fabricated by using vacuum sintering technique and nanocrystalline technology. Self-Q-switched composite Yb:Y3Al5O12/Cr:Y3Al5O12 ceramic lasers with pulse energy of 125 µJ and peak power of over 105 kW at repetition rate of 3.8 kHz have been demonstrated. Nearly diffraction-limited beam quality with M2 less than 1.35 was achieved in this composite Yb:Y3Al5O12/Cr:Y3Al5O12 ceramic self-Q-switched lasers. ©2007 American Institute of Physics

CiteULike organises scholarly (or academic) papers or literature and provides bibliographic (which means it makes bibliographies) for universities and higher education establishments. It helps undergraduates and postgraduates. People studying for PhDs or in postdoctoral (postdoc) positions. The service is similar in scope to EndNote or RefWorks or any other reference manager like BibTeX, but it is a social bookmarking service for scientists and humanities researchers.
