Notes for this articleA seminal article on crowd behaviour. For reading group. Basically the article discusses a model of rioting (thought applicable to many more things as the article points out) that has a cost / benefit in each agent rather than the whole system. This allows the model to predict much more realistic and interesting behaviour.
