Uses and Gratifications of the Mobile E-book Users 2011 International Conference in Electrics, Communication and Automatic Control Proceedings

This study is based on “use and gratifications” theory, trying to understand the user’s motivations, use behaviors, and satisfactions after using the mobile e-books. Questionnaire methodology was utilized. The result shows the differences among demographics in motives and satisfactions. In addition, the stronger motives the user has the higher are the satisfactions.
