X Abstract

The terms `hybrid library' and `clump' have been bandied about for a while now. But what do they actually mean? What are the eLib projects developing hybrid libraries and clumps actually doing? And how will the issues they are investigating affect the work of information professionals in general? Stephen Pinfield aims to deal with these questions in a way which is explicable to those who are not paid-up members of the eLib mafia.. This article appears in both the Web, the print, version of Ariadne.
