X Abstract

This study compared the student success of 47 traditional students with 39 online students enrolled in four sections of two different upper-level business courses. In an analysis of the results, there was no significant difference in cumulative grade point average or average age of students between the traditional and online sections. No significant difference was found in the student success between the two delivery methods when compared on tests, assignments, and the final course averages. The conclusion was that students performed at a nearly identical level for both online and traditional delivery methods.
