Notes for this articleassessment of the effects of PUFA on large-artery ACh mediated relaxation. ? would PUFA improve the expected imapairment of ACh-mediated relaxation seen in diabetic rats (induced by STZ)
results show expected decrease in ACh sensitivity in the diabetic rats. no improvement in PUFA treated animals. Vasorelaxation NO mediated.
poor incorporation of PUFA into endothelial cells.
