X Abstract

As described in the introduction, data mining is the process of extracting nontrivial relationships from data. No single technique can be defined as the optimal technique for data mining. Fuzzy logic modeling is a probability based method. It has many advantages over the conventional rule induction algorithm, which has been discussed in this chapter. The selection of technique depends on the problem and the data set. How to apply fuzzy logic to data mining problems is still a relatively new field. There are great potentials for exploiting these techniques on different data sets to extract information.
