Letter theoretical model of optical properties of ceramic materials application to aluminium oxide
Abstract This study, concerning the optical properties of ceramic materials, consisted of the development of a theoretical model based on the Maheu theory. The use of this model for the case of aluminium oxide required the determination of various parameters which are discussed. The theoretical results are compared with experimental data obtained by laser spectrophotometry. This work focuses on the fact that the model can be applied to other ceramic materials similar to aluminium oxide.
