Abstract

A report is given on several major breakthroughs in geomatics ‡, and their application is demonstrated on a particularly difficult habitat modeling exercise. Results show conclusively that these techniques, when applied to GIS related problems, improve the analytical capability in absolute quantitative terms by quite a bit really.
