X Abstract

Spraying live cells in suspension: The electrohydrodynamic jet, driven by high-intensity electric fields, can be exploited for processing living cells (see setup in the Figure). No adverse effects on the living cells have been observed when they are processed with this technique. This technology is not hampered by the disadvantages encountered with inkjets and can process concentrated biological suspensions containing living cells.
