Abstract

In this letter, we propose a love model from a completely new angle to answer the love question: under what conditions, a male and a female will fall in love. First, the dynamics mechanism of the love model is established and the exact analytical result is obtained . Second, under four different conditions, we get the approximative and compact analytical results, and then discuss their physical interpretations. Finally, the experimental data are collected through the network and are compared with the simulation results. We find that when the model parameter $n$ is approximatively equal to one hundred, the experimental evidence corresponds with the simulation results and when a person encounters one with the opposite sex, the probability of they falling in love might be ten thousandth. To a certain extent, the coincidence between experimental evidence and simulation results indicates the correctness and practicality of our love model.
