Abstract

In this paper we present our current work for the application of the Near Field Communication technology in University scenarios. NFC applications fall into the ambient and content-aware systems where users interact with the surrounding objects interchanging information between them. We present the use of Smart Posters devoted to a University Centre in which TAGs transmit information to mobile phones when the device touch the tag. We support the use of the NFC technology for more complex interchanging information and ticketing applications.
