a path shows wear. Why don't documents? Simple idea, possibly powerful.

not clear how the categories work or whether it's onerous to specific a category as a user (is it done on a line by line basis, changed with time, or what?)

extends to menus, spreadsheets, and then talks briefly about the implications of recording everything...and who should use it ... given that one major benefit of this technique is people sharing documents...

Lot's of thoughts about where it could be useful, no study.
