X Abstract

CSCW has provided a powerful environment and technical support for product developments. A task-based group awareness model is presented after analyzing both advantages and disadvantages of several other group awareness models popular at present through disassembling the awareness information according to tasks, processing and reassembling it with the help of task-disassembling tree, the proposed model is proved to be more accurate and flexible in describing the dynamic process and regularities of tasks, roles and actions in real applications.
