X Abstract

Results from a prototype high-pressure xenon gas scintillation drift chamber using a novel wave-shifter fiber readout scheme are presented. The primary scintillation light yield was measured to be one photon per 76±12 eV deposited energy. Initial results on the chamber are presented for two-interaction separation (<4 mm in the drift direction, ~7 mm orthogonal to the drift); for position resolution (<400 μm RMS in the plane orthogonal to the drift direction); and for energy resolution (δ<e1>E</e1>/<e1>E</e1><6% FWHM (full width at half maximum) at 122 keV)

CiteULike organises scholarly (or academic) papers or literature and provides bibliographic (which means it makes bibliographies) for universities and higher education establishments. It helps undergraduates and postgraduates. People studying for PhDs or in postdoctoral (postdoc) positions. The service is similar in scope to EndNote or RefWorks or any other reference manager like BibTeX, but it is a social bookmarking service for scientists and humanities researchers.
