X Abstract

The age of the papers accepted play an important role in deciding the characteristics of citation networks. In this paper, using the rate equation approach under the assumption of continuous degree, we study the two-node degree correlations in citation networks model with aging. Analytical results reveal that the citation network is assortative mixing. The obtained result is in agreement with the characteristic of real citation networks.
