In this editorial the author discusses the corporate turnaround of the Italian automobile manufacturer Fiat. The initiatives launched by chief executive Sergio Marchionne that resulted in a return to profitability for the company are described. The article discusses lessons that U.S. automobile companies can learn from Fiat's success.
