AbstractCurrently transgenic frog embryos are generated using restriction-enzyme-mediated integration (REMI) on decondensed sperm nuclei followed by nuclear transplantation into unfertilized eggs. We have developed a simplified version of this protocol that has the potential to increase the numbers of normally developing transgenic embryos.
