Abstract

We determine the scattering rate and the energy loss of electrons due to a laser photon beam. From the energy loss formula we determine the force accelerating an electron by the laser photon beam and the corresponding relativistic dynamical equation describing its motion. Numerically, we calculate the velocity of electron after an acceleration time Ît = 0.1 s.
