X Abstract

We theoretically investigate the above-threshold ionization of hydrogen atom in a few-cycle nonlinear chirped laser pulse by solving one-dimensional time-dependent Schrödinger equation. It is shown that the cutoff of the above-threshold ionization spectrum could be extremely extended by adjusting the chirp parameter. The results can be well explained by the simple-man model.
