This is especially true in high-level fusion visualization for situation awareness. We have developed a disaster-monitoring interface that runs in a HLA/RTI network for an earthquake simulation. Damage and recovering activities, such as casualties and ambulance routings, are presented in a GIS vector map with fast data manipulation and display control. In addition, incoming data is accumulated over time for dynamic visualization, which includes the morphing of casualty clusters. This feature is effective in keeping track of clusters so that a user can easily comprehend the trend of a situation.
