The paper is well written, and provides an background on relevant work concerning common ground.

The author does a good job of posing the question: "there is currently no principles way to determine the requirements of [a shared visual workspace] system"

The experiment itself does not seem to provide useful, nontrivial information.

The experimental method seemed solid. Using interactions and covariates to explain his data.
