Densities, viscosities and speeds of sound, at T?=?298.15?K, in the binary mixtures of nitrobenzene with 2-methoxyethanol, 2-ethoxyethanol, 2-propoxyethanol and 2-butoxyethanol have been measured as a function of composition. From the experimental data excess molar volumes V E, excess energies of activation for viscous flow (G* E), excess isentropic compressibility and the deviations in the viscosity (?ln??) from a mole fraction average have been calculated. The viscosity data were correlated with equations of Hind et al., Grunberg and Nissan, Frenkel, and McAllister. The results are discussed in terms of intermolecular interactions and structure of studied binary mixtures.
CiteULike organises scholarly (or academic) papers or literature and provides bibliographic
(which means it makes bibliographies) for universities and higher education establishments.
It helps undergraduates and postgraduates. People studying for PhDs or in postdoctoral (postdoc) positions.
The service is similar in scope to EndNote or RefWorks or any other reference manager
like BibTeX, but it is a social bookmarking service for scientists and humanities researchers.
