X Abstract

We present expressions for adjacent channel interference calculations for OFDM systems. The expressions presented are general in the sense that they are valid for any kind of transmission window, guard time and symbol time. As two examples the interference expressions are given for rectangular windows and Hanning windows. We also present a method for deriving the interference for a WSSUS channel model. We find that the Hanning window with no guard time reduces the effects of the time and frequency synchronization errors, as well as of the time and Doppler spread, compared to the rectangular window with a guard time of 1/8 of the symbol time

CiteULike organises scholarly (or academic) papers or literature and provides bibliographic (which means it makes bibliographies) for universities and higher education establishments. It helps undergraduates and postgraduates. People studying for PhDs or in postdoctoral (postdoc) positions. The service is similar in scope to EndNote or RefWorks or any other reference manager like BibTeX, but it is a social bookmarking service for scientists and humanities researchers.
