X Abstract

We investigate the consistency of e + e - annihilation data with QCD. The gluon-condensate matrix element is determined independent of the value of the strong coupling constant or possible mass-renormalization ambiguities. Our method employs finite-contour sum rules which explicitly consider continuum data. For c -quark production the condensate parameter is φ c =(2.5±0.4)×10 -3 ; while for b -quark production we find φ b =(0.4±1.0)×10 -3 ; consistent with zero. The concept of duality of moments is proved and its applicability discussed.

CiteULike organises scholarly (or academic) papers or literature and provides bibliographic (which means it makes bibliographies) for universities and higher education establishments. It helps undergraduates and postgraduates. People studying for PhDs or in postdoctoral (postdoc) positions. The service is similar in scope to EndNote or RefWorks or any other reference manager like BibTeX, but it is a social bookmarking service for scientists and humanities researchers.
