X Abstract

Abstract: The first in-situ and real-time observation of the molecular transport from inside to outside of a liposome was shown by using the second harmonic generation (SHG) technique. The transport of an organic cationic molecule across the liposome bilayer could be switched on and off using the structural change of the lipid bilayer caused by temperature change. This approach can be helpful for the understanding and control of the molecular transport in the liposome vehicle.

CiteULike organises scholarly (or academic) papers or literature and provides bibliographic (which means it makes bibliographies) for universities and higher education establishments. It helps undergraduates and postgraduates. People studying for PhDs or in postdoctoral (postdoc) positions. The service is similar in scope to EndNote or RefWorks or any other reference manager like BibTeX, but it is a social bookmarking service for scientists and humanities researchers.
