X Abstract

This paper deals with the existence and uniqueness of stationary solutions for the equations modelling the steady flow of compressible viscoelastic fluids of Oldroyd type in an exterior domain. The existence proof is based on an appropriate decomposition of the original nonlinear set of equations into auxiliar problems (Neumann problem for the Laplacian, Oseen problem, two transport equations) and on a fixed point argument in a suitable functional setting. CiteULike organises scholarly (or academic) papers or literature and provides bibliographic (which means it makes bibliographies) for universities and higher education establishments. It helps undergraduates and postgraduates. People studying for PhDs or in postdoctoral (postdoc) positions. The service is similar in scope to EndNote or RefWorks or any other reference manager like BibTeX, but it is a social bookmarking service for scientists and humanities researchers.
