X Abstract

Non-diffracting vortex beams are perspective information carriers for free space communications enabling an effective encoding, transfer and decoding of information. Adopting coaxial vortex superpositions, additional degrees of freedom of light are available to increase the density of the carried information. In this paper we present a novel decoding scheme motivated by a quantum state estimation technique capable of extracting full information encoded into an array of BesselGauss beams.

CiteULike organises scholarly (or academic) papers or literature and provides bibliographic (which means it makes bibliographies) for universities and higher education establishments. It helps undergraduates and postgraduates. People studying for PhDs or in postdoctoral (postdoc) positions. The service is similar in scope to EndNote or RefWorks or any other reference manager like BibTeX, but it is a social bookmarking service for scientists and humanities researchers.
