X Abstract

Luciferin derivatives as luminogenic substrates provide the basis for a new paradigm in enzyme assay design that brings the advantages of bioluminescence—superior sensitivity, resistance to interference, and ease of use—to the enzymology researcher. Here we highlight our wide selection of bioluminescent enzyme substrates for proteases, metabolic enzymes and β-galactosidase.
