X Abstract

Integration of current surgical-assist systems into a Surgical PACS is recognized to be the key to enable the Operating Room of the Future. Simulation of data flows between the components of a Surgical PACS is a suitable tool to assist in the design and specification of such a system. For a specific surgical setup, we have identified and characterized relevant scenarios and the participating device classes. We have created simple models and their interconnections.
