X Abstract

Over the past few years several proposals have been made for the standardization of sparse matrix storage formats in order to allow for the development of portable matrix libraries for the iterative solution of linear systems. We feel that this is the wrong approach. Rather than define one standard (or a small number of standards) for matrix storage, the community should define an interface (i.e., the calling sequences) for the functions that act on the data. In addition, we cannot ignore the...

CiteULike organises scholarly (or academic) papers or literature and provides bibliographic (which means it makes bibliographies) for universities and higher education establishments. It helps undergraduates and postgraduates. People studying for PhDs or in postdoctoral (postdoc) positions. The service is similar in scope to EndNote or RefWorks or any other reference manager like BibTeX, but it is a social bookmarking service for scientists and humanities researchers.
