X Abstract

This paper proposes a method that combines competent genetic algorithms working in discrete domains with adaptive evolution strategies working in continuous domains. We use discretization to transform solution between the two domains. The results of our experiments with the Bayesian optimization algorithm as a discrete optimizer and -self- adaptive mutation of evolution strategies as a continuous optimizer combined using k- means clustering suggest that the algorithm scales up well...

CiteULike organises scholarly (or academic) papers or literature and provides bibliographic (which means it makes bibliographies) for universities and higher education establishments. It helps undergraduates and postgraduates. People studying for PhDs or in postdoctoral (postdoc) positions. The service is similar in scope to EndNote or RefWorks or any other reference manager like BibTeX, but it is a social bookmarking service for scientists and humanities researchers.
