X Abstract

Tracer diffusion coefficients D * of deuterated polystyrene of molecular weight M diffusing into polystyrene of molecular weight P are measured by means of an ion-beam analysis method. While for P > 200 000; these D * values are independent of P ; consistent with a reptation mechanism ( D * = D R ) for the diffusion of M chains; D * increases rapidly as P is decreased; in quantitative agreement with D * = D R + D CR ; where D CR is the diffusion coefficient of the M chain by constraint release.

CiteULike organises scholarly (or academic) papers or literature and provides bibliographic (which means it makes bibliographies) for universities and higher education establishments. It helps undergraduates and postgraduates. People studying for PhDs or in postdoctoral (postdoc) positions. The service is similar in scope to EndNote or RefWorks or any other reference manager like BibTeX, but it is a social bookmarking service for scientists and humanities researchers.
