Method for investigating the parameter space in problems of passenger car design

The method of investigating the parameter space received wide application in problems of designing technical systems, which are problems with many restrictions and minimizing or maximizing criteria. Use of this method in four problems which appeared in the process of passenger car design at OAO AVTOVAZ is considered. A brief description of the computational models and methods for calculating values of functions and criteria and also an informal statement of problems of multicriteria optimization are given. An example is given.
