A wonderful blend of local narrative, theory, and concrete recommendations for "dismantling the myths of transience and linguistic homogeneity" (69). A strength of this article is its multiple solutions. She doesn't have a silver bullet; instead, she has both global and local ameliorations and countermonuments. Her appendix of linguistically inclusive classroom strategies includes suggestions from students.
