The main aim of this studywas to investigate the economic value of the East Kleinemonde estuary and how thisvalue might change with a change in estuary condition. In particular, the study concentrated on the direct use value (mainly recreational value) and the non-use (or existence) value of the estuary, since indirect use value (nursery value) is dealt with elsewhere.
